Description: bike_rte displays official bike routes. Known Errors/Qualifications: Most bike routes are street centerline coincident linework and shared-use-paths and some planned bike paths were screen digitized from orthophotography based on the infomation provided by the jurisdictions. Lineage: Updated with TDOT bike map recieved from Tom Thivener 06/16/09 Updated with September 2009 Tucson Metro Bike Map. 09/15/09 Updated with Special Bikeway name. 04/01/2010 Updated with Matt's comments on the Tucson Metro Bike Map 06/29/2010. Updated with Bike map 2011-2012 Edition 09/13/2011. Spatial Domain: Eastern Pima County Rectified: parcel Maintenance Organization: PC ITD GIS Maintenance Description: Coordintate with Matt, Kaoru updates RTBL_st_bike_rte related table and digitizes the bike_path feature class that are not in STNET feature class from Orthophotography based on the information provided by jurisdiction as STNETGDB_BIKERTE feature class. If the bike path is designated as a Spacial Bikeway, the special bikeway name is entered in the NAME_BKWY field. Major updates are intended to be done every 3 years, as that is when PAG officially approves a new map.
